Supplements

Every supplement your patient takes, on the chart

Supplements now sit in the chart next to medications, with no Fullscript account needed. Search an ingredient, a brand or a product from the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database, which covers over 100,000 labels. Pick the ingredient to see every product that contains it, then narrow by brand or name.

Charting an ingredient without a product works too. So does Custom entry, for anything the database doesn't have.

Search the ingredient, then pick the product the patient takes.

The label, one hover away

Each supplement is coded: a product by its DSLD label, an ingredient by its FDA UNII. Hover it to see the label's Supplement Facts per serving, a link to the full label, and who recorded it, when, and at what dose.

Chart a whole protocol in one step

Build templates for the protocols you recommend under Library → Supplements. A template is a set of supplements with their doses, like a sleep stack or a gut protocol. Add supplement then offers your templates before the single-supplement search.

Pick one, untick anything that doesn't fit, and chart the rest together. Anything the patient already takes starts unticked and is never charted twice. The picker tells you how many there are before you open the template.

A starter library, with the evidence attached

The library starts you off with 15 templates in six groups: foundations, women's health, deficiency, digestive, clinical and sleep & performance. They cover pregnancy and lactation, vitamin D and iron repletion, migraine prevention, life after bariatric surgery and more.

Doses are filled in only where a guideline states them, and every template lists its sources. Templates name ingredients, never brands: import one, then swap in the products you stock.

Synced with DoseSpot. Charted supplements appear in DoseSpot as self-reported entries, and changes made there come back to the chart.
Fullscript is optional. A patient's Supplements page always lists what's charted. Fullscript plans and orders join the list when your practice is connected.
Part of the visit. Supplements charted during a visit are recorded in it, and ones already on the chart carry forward in one click.

Procedure templates

Start a procedure from a template

Add procedure now opens with your templates. Search for one, and the procedure starts with the template's code, injection map and charting notes already in place. Start blank is still there for anything new.

Your procedures, written once

Templates live under Library → Procedures. Each one holds a CPT code, injection points on the face or body map, default notes, and a line on when to use it. Save a procedure you've just charted as a new template from its ⋯ menu.

Starting a procedure copies the template, so changing or deleting a template later never touches procedures already charted.

23 starter templates to import

The library covers neurotoxin, dermal filler, medical neurotoxin, joints and soft tissue, skin and office procedures. Toxin doses and sites follow the onabotulinumtoxinA prescribing information, cited on each template. Filler volumes and steroid doses are left for the clinician.
