How does the waiting room work?
The patient opens the link, grants mic/camera, and sees a live preview. A countdown runs to the scheduled start; once the time hits and their mic is working, Join unlocks. There isn't a separate “admit patient” step on the clinician side today — the rails keep them from joining early.
Do you support group visits or shared medical appointments?
Today's visit model is 1:1 (one clinician, one patient). We don't currently ship purpose-built group visits or shared medical appointments; if that's core to your practice we'd like to hear about it before you commit.
What about low-bandwidth patients?
LiveKit adapts stream quality to the network automatically. In practice, visits stay connected as audio if the video can't sustain — so the conversation keeps going and the note still lands in the chart.
