Recommending supplements
Recommend supplements through Fullscript from the patient chart, and keep every recommendation on the record.
The supplement dispensary runs through Fullscript. You build the protocol in Fullscript's catalog, the recommendation is attached to the patient in Ona, and the patient orders through Fullscript.
Recommending supplements
Open the patient, or a visit, and go to Supplements in the Dispensary section.
Open Fullscript launches the catalog, where you build a protocol and recommend products to the patient.
Keep supplement recommendations in the record, not only in conversation with the patient. A charted recommendation shows up on the patient's summary under Recommendations. The next clinician sees what was advised, and the patient has it in writing.
The Fullscript connection
Supplements depend on your practice being connected to Fullscript. An Owner or Admin sets it up under Settings → Dispensary → Fullscript, by signing in to the practice's Fullscript practitioner account. The same connection is used for ordering labs through Fullscript.
Fullscript matches patients by email. If a patient has no email on their record, their recommendations won't sync to Ona.
