Your Ona plan and subscription

Your subscription lives under Settings → Subscription. In the left sidebar, click Settings (at the bottom). In the settings menu, under General, click Subscription. Use this page to see your organization's current billing state and take the next step when Ona shows one.

How do I review my current subscription?

In the left sidebar, click Settings (at the bottom). In the settings menu, under General, click Subscription to review your organization's current plan and billing status.

The Subscription section shows your status badge and these details when they are available:

• Price: the monthly or yearly amount. During a trial, this shows -.
• Billing Cycle: Monthly or Yearly. During a trial, this shows -.
• Renews On or Ends On: the current period end date. If the subscription is set to cancel, the label changes to Ends On.
• Contract: the date the contract was accepted, and the email address that accepted it when available.

If your trial or free period is still open, Ona shows how many days remain or the date your first charge begins.

If Ona can't load your subscription, the page shows Unable to load subscription. Refresh the page, or contact support if it still does not load.

How do I subscribe when pricing is ready?

In the left sidebar, click Settings (at the bottom). In the settings menu, under General, click Subscription when your pricing has been configured and the page shows Your plan. Checkout is available only after you accept the required agreements.

1. In Your plan, choose Monthly or Yearly. An option is disabled if that billing cycle is not priced for your organization.
2. Review the price shown for the selected billing cycle.
3. Tick each required agreement. Ona always requires the Business Associate Agreement (BAA), Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If your plan includes a service agreement, it also requires the Service Agreement.
4. Select Agree & Checkout.

Ona sends you to checkout. While the redirect starts, the button reads Redirecting to checkout.... After a successful checkout return, Ona shows Confirming your subscription — this usually takes a few seconds. while the subscription is confirmed.

If you leave checkout without completing it, Ona shows Checkout cancelled and no changes are made to your subscription.

How do I add a payment method after signing a contract?

In the left sidebar, click Settings (at the bottom). In the settings menu, under General, click Subscription when the page says your contract is signed but a card is still needed. In this state, the agreement choices and billing cycle are already recorded, so the page sends you straight to payment.

1. Find Payment method.
2. Review the accepted contract date and amount shown.
3. Select Continue to payment.

Ona sends you to checkout to add payment details. While the redirect starts, the button reads Redirecting to checkout....

How do I manage my current subscription?

In the left sidebar, click Settings (at the bottom). In the settings menu, under General, click Subscription when Manage subscription appears in the top right. The button appears when your organization has a subscription and no payment method step is needed.

1. Select Manage subscription.

Ona opens the subscription management page. While it opens, the button reads Opening....

What if pricing is not ready yet?

In the left sidebar, click Settings (at the bottom). In the settings menu, under General, click Subscription to check whether your organization has pricing configured. If pricing is not ready, the page shows Your pricing is being prepared under Pricing.

Pricing is tailored to each clinic. Select Contact sales to email [email protected] with the subject line Subscription pricing.

Subscription statuses

In the left sidebar, click Settings (at the bottom). In the settings menu, under General, click Subscription to understand what action, if any, your organization needs to take.

Status	What it means
Active	Your subscription is active. If you are still inside a free period, the page shows when your first charge begins.
Trial	Your organization is in a trial. The page shows when the trial ends when that date is available.
Past Due	Your last payment didn't go through. Update your payment method to keep your subscription; Ona keeps retrying in the meantime.
Unpaid	Ona couldn't collect payment and the subscription is suspended. Update your payment method to restore access.
Cancelled	The subscription has been cancelled. Subscribe again to restore access for your team.
Expired	The free trial has ended. Subscribe to restore access for your team.

If an active subscription is set to cancel, Ona shows Subscription ending and the date it will end.

What can't I do here?

In the left sidebar, click Settings (at the bottom). In the settings menu, under General, click Subscription. Only owners and admins can use this page.

You can't start checkout until all required agreements are ticked. You also can't choose a billing cycle that has not been priced for your organization.

If billing is not set up for your organization, Ona shows Billing isn't set up yet and asks you to contact support.

Common questions

Why is Agree & Checkout disabled?

Agree & Checkout stays disabled until every required agreement is ticked. It is also disabled while checkout is starting.

Why is Yearly or Monthly disabled?

That billing cycle is not priced for your organization. Choose a billing cycle that is available.

What happens if checkout fails to start?

Ona shows Couldn't start checkout with more detail when it is available. Otherwise, the message asks you to try again in a moment.

What does Past Due mean?

Past Due means the last payment did not go through. Update your payment method to keep the subscription while Ona retries the payment.

Does subscribing restore my team’s access?

When a trial has ended or a subscription was cancelled, the page says subscribing restores access for your team. If a free trial ended, Ona also says everyone’s setup is preserved exactly as they left it.
