Your member ID card sharing controls are in settings, directly under the card preview. The public link shows your shared credential card to anyone who has the link.

In the left sidebar, click Settings (at the bottom). In the settings menu, under General, click My Profile if you are an owner or admin, or Profile if you are a clinician. The sharing controls sit directly below the card.

  1. Turn on Public link if it is not already on.
  2. Select Rotate link.
  3. Read the confirmation message.
  4. Select Rotate link to create a new address, or Keep current link to cancel.

How do I stop sharing my member ID card?

In the left sidebar, click Settings (at the bottom). In the settings menu, under General, click My Profile if you are an owner or admin, or Profile if you are a clinician. Use Public link to unpublish the shared card.

  1. Find Public link under your member ID card.
  2. Turn off Public link.

Ona unpublishes the card. Changes take effect within a minute.

What does someone see when they open the public member ID card?

When someone opens your public member ID card link, they see your shared credential card on a public page. The card can be flipped, and on devices that support it, tilted.

What can't I do here?

Member ID card sharing has these limits:

  • People with the link can view the card without signing in.
  • Rotating a link cannot be undone. Old links stop working permanently after the change takes effect.

Common questions

Who can view my public member ID card?

Anyone with the link can view the card. The sharing control states, “Anyone with the link can view this card.”

Changes take effect within a minute. During that time, an old link may still resolve while caches expire.

No. Rotating creates a brand new address. Links already sent by email, printed on cards or encoded in QR codes stop working permanently, so replace those copies with the new link.

Ona shows Couldn't copy link and asks you to try again. Your card link is unchanged.
